IVAR.HX-016 (cod A0D0Q01) este un vas de expansiune sub presiune din oțel inoxidabil AISI 304, de 0,16 l, destinat absorbirii loviturilor hidraulice din conducte. Când curgerea apei se oprește brusc – de regulă la închiderea rapidă a unui robinet cu bilă sau la comutarea unei electrovalve –, în rețea apare un vârf scurt de presiune. Vasul îl preia înainte ca presiunea dinamică ridicată să solicite armăturile de golire și filtrele.
